How do I know if the item(s) I ordered are in stock?
All products on brantfordmusic.com are in stock! Most of our competitors list entire catalogues of products but have very few in stock. We realize that this can be very frustrating to shoppers but that's not how we roll! Everything in the world is available "special order" but that doesn't help if you want to buy it right now. If you see something you like you can come by, play it, buy it, and take it home today if you wish. None of our competitors can make that claim. Also, if an item sells, it will say "Out of Stock" and once it ships it will no longer appear on our store.
Do I need to create an account?
What types of payments do you accept?
We currently accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express via our online store. In our retail store we also accept Cash and Debit.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged once you click "Place my order" on the checkout screen. Please review your order, billing and shipping information before you click!
What about sales tax?
All online orders are subject to applicable sales taxes which will be calculated upon checkout. Sales taxes are calculated based on the tax laws of the province or territory of the shipping address.
Can I cancel an order?
We recognize that on occasion an order may need to be changed or cancelled. Please contact us immediately if you need to change or cancel your order. Unfortunately if your order has already shipped we cannot change or cancel your order and it will be subject to our return policy listed below.
When will my order ship?
We ship orders out Monday to Friday. All orders received before 4pm EST ship out same day. Orders received after 4pm EST ship out the next day and orders received after 4pm EST on Friday will ship out on Monday. Please note that in the event of a holiday, orders will ship the next business day.
Where do you ship to?
Currently we only ship to addresses within Canada.
Do you have free shipping??
Yes! Almost all orders over $200 before tax ship free. Only a very few large/heavy items that are over $200 do not qualify for free shipping. Pickup in store is an option for these items and can be requested by selecting the "Free Shipping" option at checkout. For orders that do not qualify for free shipping, shipping charges will be applied upon checkout.
Is my order insured?
Yes. We insure all orders to protect you. Instruments are valuable and we want you to rest assured that your order is in good hands.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
With the exception of music books and a few very small items all order are shipped via expedited parcel and a tracking number will be emailed to you once your order ships. Although there are some exceptions most orders are received in 1-2 days once shipped.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?*
*Due to Covid-19 we are currently unable to accept any discretionary returns or exchanges*
We want you to be happy. If you're happy, we're happy. If you're not satisfied with your product you may return it for a refund of the purchase price within 30 days of shipping. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If your purchase was eligible for free shipping, the shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. You are responsible for the item until it is returned to us therefore we highly recommend that returns are insured for the purchase price of the item.
What if I received a defective product?
If you believe you have received a defective product please contact us immediately so we may begin to work on fixing the problem.
Can anything be returned?
Most products can be returned with a few exceptions:
- sheet music (due to copyright laws)
- software (due to copyright laws)
- CD's and DVD's (due to copyright laws)
- personal items (earphones, harmonicas, reeds, mouthpieces, etc)
- final sale items
- shipping charges
Please note that all items being returned must be in the exact same condition that you received them in. Items with obvious signs of wear or use will be subject to a restocking fee of up to 50% of the purchase price. Items returned must be in the complete original packaging and shipping materials including all included accessories and literature (manuals, warranty card, etc).
How do I return an item I ordered?
Please contact us for all returns. You will need a return authorization code.
Items returned without a return authorization code will not be accepted!
When will I get my refund?
Refunds will be issued once we receive your returned items and they are inspected. Shipping charges are not refundable and if an order qualified for free shipping, the shipping charges as well as any restocking fees will be deducted from your refund.
